We’ve been waiting a long time and at last it’s nearly here! On 15 December 2015 the European Trademark reform was approved by the European Parliament.

The Regulation was published on 24 December 2015 and will take effect from 23 March 2016. The Directive was published on 23 December and became effective on 13 January 2016.

This is a summary of the main points of this reform.
